Appeal Process
What do you do if you have a problem at your child's school?
Problems can arise in any situation, but can be solved by open discussion and a shared commitment to act in the best interest of the student. The following process ensures that everyone involved has an opportunity to respond to the issue.
The steps to follow:
- Begin by raising your concerns with your child's teacher.
- If you can’t resolve the issue by talking to the teacher - contact the school principal.
- If you can’t settle the issue - talk to your District Superintendent.
- If you still aren't satisfied with the results - contact the Chief Superintendent.
- Finally, if you feel that all other avenues of support have not provided results that are satisfactory to you, contact the Board of Trustees.
