The Winnipeg School Division publishes its annual report in October of each year. This report to the community highlights the Division’s priorities, district priorities and initiatives, as well as showing revenues and expenditures.
A demographic snapshot details the number of people and families living within the boundaries of the Winnipeg School Division. Statistics show the top ancestral/cultural identities declared by families with children attending Division schools. The document includes information about student assessement, special needs support services and a list of outstanding students who have won the year’s Governor General Medals. In addition to posting the annual report on the website, copies are delivered to over 70,000 homes within the boundaries of the Winnipeg School Division. Annual reports are also available at select locations, such as local convenience stores. A limited number are sent to schools and administrative departments for staff members who may live outside of the regular delivery area.
