Building DepartmentThe Building Department is responsible for coordinating the physical environment with the people and the work of the Division. Under the general direction of the Chief Superintendent, the Building Department delivers infrastructure needs of the Division in consultation with senior administration, school administrators and community advisory groups. The physical plant of the Division includes 95 buildings with approximately 5,130,000 square feet of space of varying vintages and 300 acres of grounds. The Department recognizes the importance of retaining the building heritage while accommodating the needs of all stakeholders and incorporating contemporary building codes and educational requirements.

Administrative Support Group The Administrative Support Group is a team that provides the senior administration in the Building Department financial and administrative support. This group includes:
Funding Building projects within the division may be funded by internal and capital funds or by the Province of Manitoba Public School Finance Board. All projects are administrated under the general direction of the Board of Trustees.
