MANITOBA SOCCER ASSOCIATION - ARCHIE NUNN SCHOLARSHIP

Basic Eligibility Requirements:
- Applicants who has for three (3) or more years participated in programs
sanctioned by the Manitoba Soccer Association and who is currently
participating in some capacity in soccer
- Students proceeding from Grade 12 to any University in the Province (Manitoba)
or other post secondary institutions approved by the scholarship committee
- A candidate must have proficiency in soccer as indicated by his/her play or have
shown worthwhile contributions as judged by the Scholarship Committee, in
refereeing, coaching, or administration of the game of soccer
- Demonstrate good citizenship, character and leadership
Special Documents/Submissions/Requirements:
- Letter from the Principal or Post Secondary Administrator certifying the
candidate's age, scholarship, character and ability and participation in school
activities
- Final transcript of the student's marks for grades 10, 11, 12 or a certified photo
copy of the Permanent Record Card
- Letter from the Coach or Manager or League Executive indicating the candidate's
character, leadership, participation in community activities as well as
information regarding the candidate's soccer ability or contribution to refereeing,
coaching or administrative involvement
