CHILD GUIDANCE CLINIC

School Based Support Services for Children And Families -

The Child Guidance Clinic provides clinical service to students, families and schools in the Winnipeg School Division and various independent schools in Winnipeg, Manitoba. We are comprised of four geographical units, including the Central, Inner City, North and South whose services are delivered by specialists in the departments of Clinical Reading, Communication Disorders (Speech Language Pathology and Audiology), School Psychology and School Social Work.

CGC Mission Statement -

The primary mission of the Child Guidance Clinic shall be to provide multi-disciplinary support services to school systems for children with special needs by providing preventative, consultative, diagnostic, and intervention services. The services provided by the Clinic shall be consistent with the most relevant research and proven methods in regard to the delivery of innovative and quality educational programs.
