School Based Support Services for Children And Families

The Child Guidance Clinic provides clinical services to students, families and schools in three school divisions and various independent schools in Winnipeg, Manitoba. We have four departments (Clinical Reading, Communication Disorders, School Psychology, and School Social Work). Our services are delivered through five units, consisting of multi-disciplinary teams. CGC Mission Statement

The primary mission of the Child Guidance Clinic shall be to provide multi-disciplinary support services to school systems for children with special needs by providing preventative, consultative, diagnostic, and intervention services. The services provided by the Clinic shall be consistent with the most relevant research and proven methods in regard to the delivery of innovative and quality educational programs.
