ecovest is an initiative of the Winnipeg School Division, Building Department, underway since 2001, to reduce the core energy and water usage in schools. The program will result in a significant decrease in CO2 emissions and a major drop in water consumption. Costs of this initiative are paid for from future energy savings. This educational web site has been designed to provide you with an overall understanding of the Energy Management Service Contract (EMSC) program and how it relates to you, the buildings you work in, WSD and global communities at large.

The Winnipeg School Division recognizes that the education of project stakeholders is a key component in ensuring the ultimate success of each and every energy service project we implement. This siteis an element of our educational strategy utilizing the ubiquity of the Internet to provide easy-to-use, engaging education content.
