Bus and school cancellation information
- There are days when school bus transportation may be cancelled, but the schools and the administration building will remain open.
- School buses are cancelled for the day when the wind chill reaches -45° C by 6:15 a.m. Buses may also be cancelled due to extreme snowfall or poor driving conditions.
- All schools and transportation of students may be cancelled due to a blizzard.
If school buses are cancelled or schools closed, the following media outlets are contacted in the early morning to ask that they broadcast the cancellation: CBC ; CBC-French; CJOB; 1290 CFRW; 99.9 BOB-FM; Q94-FM; 92 CITI FM; 102.3 CLEAR FM; 99.1 CJZZ-COOL FM; City-TV, and the Weather Network.
