Adult Education
EAL - Adult English as an additional language (formerly ESL - english as a second language) The Winnipeg School Division operates an Adult EAL program on behalf of the provincial government to provide an opportunity, within a multicultural environment, for adult students to develop a facility in the English language and an understanding of Canadian society. Classes are available during the day at 700 Elgin Avenue, Elmwood High School and 696 Portage Ave., 2nd floor and in the evening at Winnipeg Adult Education Centre.
