Computer Workstation Replacement Program

(2001/02 - 2004/05)

 

At the meeting held on April 4, 2000, the Board of Trustees approved the 5 Year Technology Integration Plan for the period 2000/2001 to 2004/2005. A component of the 5 year plan is the four year computer workstation replacement program for elementary/junior high schools labs.

2004/2005 (Year 4)

During the 2004/2005 school year, 375 computer workstations will be purchased for the following 10 elementary and 7 junior high computer labs:

Cecil Rhodes, George V, Gladstone, Greenway, Harrow, Inkster, John M. King, Lord Nelson,  Montrose, Pinkham .

David Livingstone, Isaac Newton, Lansdowne, Meadows West,  Niji Mahkwa, River Heights, Sacre-Coeur.

2003/2004 (Year 3)

During the 2003/2004 school year, 365 computer workstations were purchased for the following 12 elementary and 5 junior high computer labs:

Clifton,  Garden Grove, Grosvenor, King Edward,  J.B. Mitchell, LaVerendrye, Luxton, Robertson, Sargent Park, Shaughnessy Park, Weston, Wolseley.

Earl Grey, General Wolfe, Hugh John Macdonald, Ralph Brown, William Whyte

2002/2003 (Year 2)

In accordance with the approved 5 Year Technology Integration Plan, on September 23, 2002 the Board authorized the purchase of 360 computer workstations for the following 18 elementary computer labs: 

Carpathia, Champlain, Dufferin, Faraday, Glenelm, Kent Road, Lord Roberts, Lord Selkirk, Machray, Meadows West, Norquay, Prairie Rose, Principal Sparling, Queenston, Rockwood, Stanley Knowles, Strathcona, Wellington.

2001/2002 (Year 1)

In accordance with the approved 5 Year Technology Integration Plan, on September 10, 2001, the Board authorized the purchase of 475 computer workstations for the following 10 elementary and 11 junior high computer labs:

Brock Corydon, Fort Rouge, Laura Secord, Mulvey, River Elm, Riverview, Robert H. Smith, Sister MacNamara, Tyndall Park, Victoria-Albert

Andrew Mynarski, Cecil Rhodes, Churchill, Elmwood, Gordon Bell, Grant Park, Isaac Brock, St. John's, Sargent Park, Shaughnessy Park, Stanley Knowles.
