MERLIN

Manitoba Education Research & Learning Information Networks (MERLIN) has developed a bundled services package with the intent of providing cost savings for software and technology services to all school divisions in the province of Manitoba.

The MERLIN Partner Program offers desktop licenses for an unlimited number of school division owned computers (instructional & administrative) for Microsoft Office Professional, Windows Desktop Operating system (upgrades), and core client access licenses. Technology services include Internet bandwidth, web content filtering, and email anti-spam and virus filtering.

On July 10, 2006, approval was received for the Division to sign the MERLIN Partner agreement for the period of July 1, 2006 to June 30, 2009.
